November 21, 2011 The path that chose me….
While in Florida a few things became aware to me. For instance, I know that it is not where you are from that determines how far you can go in life. Laurence Fishburne the actor that played Morpheus in the Matrix and lead in Othello is from Augusta, Georgia. Morpheus, just the thought of it is baffling and inspiring comes from a place remnant of poverty, deprivation and ignorance. I’ve always knew that I was different. Not better but knowing that my destiny was much bigger than my immediate comprehension and what people dreamed for me.
Some how I knew that I was supposed to be somewhere and would do something great. And that it was not there in Jacksonville, Florida.
Going off to college only to return to a place and live the lives of the people around me didn’t interest me.
